Kevin Durant said the Warriors expected James Harden to tire out in the second half

The Golden State Warriors went into the locker room at half down 11 points to the Rockets. Before that, head coach Steve Kerr called the first quarter one of the worst quarters of basketball that his team had played.

The Warriors weren't worried, and according to Kevin Durant, it was James Harden's fitness that had Golden State expecting a second-half rally.

Speaking to ESPN Radio after the Warriors' 101-92 Game 7 win, Durant said that the Warriors correctly anticipated that Harden would run out of gas.

Kevin Durant on @ESPNRadio "We knew at some point they'd tire out. James dribbled so much each possession, I know at some point he'll wear down and we were going at him on the defensive side of the ball as well"
