Justin Trudeau To Attend Global Citizen Festival Before G20 Summit, Featuring Coldplay, Shakira, Pharrell And More

International advocacy organization Global Citizen has that announced that Justin Trudeau will be among the world leaders attending and participating in the Global Citizen Festival Hamburg, taking place at July 6 in Hamburg, Germany.

The Canadian prime minister will be joined by Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Argentine President Mauricio Macri at the festival, which takes place just before they and other world leaders will meet in Hamburg for the G20 Summit.

According to the announcement, Trudeau, Solberg and Macri are all responding to calls from Global Citizens to address and deliver on the Global Goals for Sustainable Development, which urge world leaders to prioritize investments in education, health, development and the global refugee crisis.
