Everton back in for Gylfi Sigurdsson with second bid worth £45million

Everton have made a second bid worth a total of £45million for Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Ronald Koeman is offering £40million plus £5million in add-ons for the Iceland international as he attempts to bring in his priority target of the summer.
Swansea are demanding a figure of £50million for Sigurdsson but Everton are hopeful that an increased bid will persuade the Welsh club to do business.
Sigurdsson missed Swansea's pre-season tour of the United States, informing head coach Paul Clement he was not in the right frame of mind amid huge uncertainty over his future.
Everton's initial bid of £40million was turned down but Koeman is determined to bring in the 27-year-old after a mammoth summer spending spree.
