A nonfiction author, television writer and producer, and amateur tennis player, he was the son of the famous Groucho Marx. He published several memoirs detailing his relationship with his father; these include Life with Groucho (1954) and Son of Groucho (1972). He was an amateur tennis star during his high school years.
