Bio:
A Croatian modernist author, poet, novelist, and dramatist, he is best known for works such as Banket u Blitvi (1939), Gospoda Glembajevi (1928), and Hrvatski bog Mars (1922). He was primarily a dramatist, and he wrote theatrical works in the genres of both expressionism and realism. He studied at military academies in Hungary before volunteering for the Serbian army.
