Japanese actor who became known for his role as SÅzaburÅ KanÅ in the 1999 film, Taboo, and his role as Ren Honjo in the 2005 film, Nana. He won a Best Supporting Actor Japanese Academy Award for his role in the 2011 film, Tantei wa Bar ni Iru.
