Visual artist, art educator, and published author. Her work is celebrated for its large-scale paintings, mixed-media oil work, gel plate printmaking, and intricate magazine collages. Alongside her studio work, she serves as an International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Educator and a Theory of Knowledge Coordinator. Her educational foundation in the arts began in the 1990s, earning her BFA from the University of Hartford in 1997. Her studio practice shifted dramatically in 2006 following a car accident. This life event pushed her to deeper creative exploration and led to her signature style of complex color masking using recycled materials.
