Canadian actress known for her roles on shows like Being Erica, General Hospital, and Ginny & Georgia. She is the first Black Canadian woman to headline a Canadian drama series, specifically as Marcie Diggs on the CBC network show Diggstown. She is of Trinidadian and Middle Eastern descent. Growing up in Toronto, she danced ballet and studied at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
