Ukrainian actress and former ballet dancer who is known for having performed as a member of the American Ballet Theater in New York. She is also known for having starred in the television series The Americans and the miniseries Flesh and Bone.' She first began her ballet training at the age of ten at the Kiev Ballet School. She then joined the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kiev in 1990 as a soloist. She moved up to become a principal dancer in 1992. She then joined the American Ballet Theater in August of 1996.
