Former pitcher who won the World Series as a member of the Baltimore Orioles in 1983 before winning it again with the the Oakland Athletics in 1989. In 1988, he won the American League Comeback Player of the Year award in 1988. He was born in Dallas, Texas and began his MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles in 1982.
