Two-time NHL All-Star most famous for his years with the Minnesota North Stars and New York Islanders. He lead the league in games played in 3 seasons and later became a coach in the North Stars organization. He was born in Prior Lake, Minnesota and got his start with the junior league club of the Boston Bruins, the Niagara Falls Flyers, at age 21.
