Born Michael Weinstein and better known by his stage name of Mike Winters, this British comedian became famous for his straight man role in the Mike & Bernie Winters comedy duo. After studying clarinet at the Royal Academy of Music, he briefly served in the Merchant Navy during World War II and then became a captain and musician in the Canadian Legion.
