Acclaimed poet known for such collections as All of the Above, The Judas Clock, and Rouge Pulp. She has received the American Book Award, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and the Pushcart Prize. After graduating from the University of Akron in the late 1970s, she entered the graduate creative writing program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
