American house singer who won a Billboard Music Award in 1994 in the Top-Selling Hot Dance Music Club Play Single category for her song 100% Pure Love. She started writing poetry at the age of eleven and was inducted into the American Poetry Society when she was 14 years old. She was the youngest person to earn the honor.
