Former First Lady of Honduras who helped form the National Front of Popular Resistance after her husband, then-president Manuel Zelaya, was removed in a military coup. She unsuccessfully ran for president in 2013. She earned a degree in business administration despite not attending university. She was very active in creating programs for families while living in Catamacas, Honduras.
