Mexican American super bantamweight and amateur featherweight division boxer who started his professional career by winning his first 19 bouts. He finished his amateur career with a record of 165-15 which includes a gold medal at the 2006 National Junior Olympics and silver medals at the 2006 International Aliyev Cup, 2006 National PAL Championships, and 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
