Bio:

Lithuanian astronomer who helped create and develop the Vilnius photometric system.He was elected as a Corresponding Member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences in 1996 and he has worked at the Mol tai Astronomical Observatory. He studied Astrophysics at Vilnius University and then went to the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
