Former first baseman who became a star in Korea and Japan as a member of teams like the Doosan Bears and Chunichi Dragons. He was named MVP of Korea Professional Baseball after hitting a league-record forty-two home runs in 1998. He was drafted as a third baseman out of high school by the Montreal Expos in 1988 but never played for an MLB team.
