Proclaimed The Godfather of Malaysian Stand Up Comedy, he hosted and headlined the biggest stand-up comedy event in southeast Asia called The Kings and Queens of Comedy Asia 2 in 2011. He won the Best New Director award at the Malaysian Film Festival for his feature film debut Hanya Kawan in 1997.
