Bio:

Most well known for his acclaimed play Man Of The Heart, this Indian writer is also notable for his 2004 theatrical piece Proteeti, as well as for his work as a poet and translator. When he was growing up, he was fascinated by the work of his neighbor, the renowned actor and playwright Ajitesh Bandhopadhyay. Inspired to pursue a career in the theatre, Chatterjee went on to study at the National Theater Institute in Connecticut and to earn his PhD from New York University's famous Tisch School of the Arts.
