British comedian who appeared in successful series like In Bed with Medinner and UK's The Show, based on Garry Shandling's The Larry Sander's Show. He has also made several appearances on BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz. Prior to becoming a successful comedian, he worked a variety of low-paying gigs, including parking cars and delivering food. Instead of college he was Merchant Navy man for a bit.
