Young adult fiction author who penned the Dear America, Royal Diaries, and Guardians of Ga'Hoole series. Her stand-alone novels include Blood Secret, True North, and Hawksmaid. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in English. She went on to study early childhood education at Wheelock College.
