Famous for her membership in the female R&B quartet Ex Girlfriend, Francis is also well known for her participation in season one of The X Factor. Also an actress, she appeared in episodes of Third Watch, Phil of the Future, and Half & Half. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, she performed in Broadway productions of Footloose, Street Corner Symphony, and Smokey Joe's Cafe.
