American actor and dancer who starred in the 1983 Broadway production of My One and Only. His role earned him both a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award. Early in his career, he was a part of a dance group called the Three Millers. He debuted on Broadway in the 1949 production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
