Bio:

Famous for works such as Gargoyles, Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, and Sonata for Flute and Piano, this contemporary classical composer became known for the inventive, polytonal elements of his music. He taught at Mannes College, The New School for Music. When he was just sixteen years old, he performed one of his piano compositions at Carnegie Hall.
