He became known for playing the title characters in both the 1988 film Willow and in the Leprechaun franchise. He also portrayed the Ewok Wicket in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, played Professor Fillus Flitwick and Griphook in the Harry Potter films and played Nikabrik in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. He watched Star Wars incessantly. He earned his Star Wars job after responding to a radio ad calling for people who were around four feet tall.
