Mexican leader of the infamous Sinaloa Cartel who became known as one of the chief crystal meth suppliers to Mexico and the U.S.. He was shot and killed during a raid by the Mexican Army in July 2010. He was born in Canelas and used fishing boats to transport drugs in the early 2000's.
