The Bachelorette's Hometown Dates Deal With Rumors, the L-Word, and Even More Horses

Let's be honest here guys: Those were not the most dramatic hometown dates in the world.

Sure, they had their moments, but for the most part, JoJo just met four kind families who she liked and who liked her. Other than JoJo making things up about a couple of empty chairs and Robby's mom trying to start some s—t with "chatter" about Robby's ex, those were some very pleasant family gatherings.

JoJo started in the snowy mountains of Colorado to meet up with Chase (the guy we keep forgetting is still here), who was feeling a little insecure about the fact that his parents are divorced. His "broken home" has caused him to have trouble opening up and expressing his emotions, which JoJo has noticed, of course.

JoJo met Chase's dad first, and he was nice, and then she met Chase's mom, stepdad, sister and brother in law, and nephew. Everyone was perfectly nice, and perfectly understanding of Chase's troubles with vulnerability.

He and his sister had a talk about how hard it is to say the l-word because of how they've been hurt by those who were supposed to love them unconditionally, but eventually Chase got up the courage to finally tell JoJo he was falling in love with her, and they shared a kiss.
