Taylor Swift And Morgan Wallen Dominated Spotify In The US In 2023

She might not have ended up with the No. 1 song or the top-streamed album in the U.S. this year, but Taylor Swift comes out on top anyway when looking at the most popular artists on Spotify. According to the company, the singer-songwriter is the most successful act on the streaming site in America in 2023.

The streamer released its annual Wrapped roundup today (November 29), announcing the biggest and most-streamed songs, albums, and artists globally and in the United States. The program also lets individual users dive into what they had on repeat throughout the year as well in what has become a highly-anticipated moment for the company.

To land at No. 1 on the list of the top-streamed artists, Swift beat out her frequent competitor for most records in the industry, Drake. The Canadian star appears in second place, just ahead of Morgan Wallen—who performed even better on several other important rankings shared by Spotify.
