Choreographer Bosco Martis said that contrary to popular belief, Salman Khan isnt the opposite of Shah Rukh Khan when it comes to hard work and dedication. In an interview, Bosco was asked which actors surrender willingly, and which of them resist choreographers instructions. He told Siddharth Kannan, Its not true. With Salman bhai, during Partner, we did 27 takes for Maria Maria. We were in Abu Dhabi, it was 1 in the afternoon, in scorching heat, we kept going at it over and over again. There was one move that he just couldnt nail. So on the 15th take, I went to him and said okay, and walked away. He knew that I wasnt satisfied, and that I just wanted to move on. He called me said, Till the time you dont get, dont say okay. Ill do it even if it requires 100 takes.

Bosco said that Salman is very aware of how popular his dance steps are, and that his audience celebrates him for his on-screen persona, which includes his signature steps.
