Laura Ingraham Comes to SNL to Share Her Great New Sponsors

To the relief of that one racist aunt you get stuck talking to every Thanksgiving, Laura Ingraham's back from her mandatory completely coincidental vacation. (Update: a Fox News Corp spokesperson maintains the vacation was pre-planned.) After she mocked Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg for not getting into more colleges, she's been losing advertisers, with 27 companies jumping ship as people push for a boycott.

But Ingraham has never let shame or decency stop her before, and Kate McKinnon showed up on "Weekend Update" as the accidentally-heiled-Trump-that-one-time talking head to brag about all her great new sponsors: "Carl's Senior: Leftover Carl's Jr. food ground to mush for old people. Mmm, Carl's Sr. And Your Pillow. From the makers of My Pillow, send us your pillow. We need more pillows. Or how about Shkreli's Jelly' It's just jelly that's $8000 a jar."

McKinnon's Ingraham does take a moment to lament how unfair it is that she's being targeted now. Not because what she said wasn't bad'it was'but because she's always been an obnoxious troll who attacks and insults people while clutching her pearls and yelling about the First Amendment every time she's been criticized. The difference, this time she's facing consequences: "And all because I [air quotes] trolled a traumatized teen [air quotes]' After spewing venom for decades, Twitter suddenly has made me accountable'"

But to her credit, she does make the strongest case yet against going after her advertisers: "Don't boycott my show. Our country's so divided right now, and I'm an important part of that. Let's move on. You know I'm gonna say something worse. Why don't you just watch the show and find out what that's gonna be'"
