John Stamos remembers catching his partner cheating on him with Tony Danza

John Stamos recalls catching his then-girlfriend in bed with Tony Danza in what he described as his 'worst nightmare', during their short romance in the 1980s.

Stamos initially did not suspect Teri Copley was cheating on him until she went hours of radio silence before he remembered that Danza, her ex-husband, was in town.

The Porsche 356 speedster contained a poster of his wife, half-unrolled as she was half-naked. It was a poster that he had never laid eyes upon before.

So he headed to the house itself, which was locked but he recalled that the pair used to sleep together in the guesthouse in the backyard and upon heading to the building, he found his adulterous girlfriend with her ex-lover.

"I call her from the road, but the girl who breathlessly picked up the phone after one ring is now giving me busy signals and dial tones," he wrote in an extract obtained by Entertainment Weekly.

"When I get home, I call her throughout the day and into the evening. No response. Strange. We've gone from talking on the phone every few hours to silence."
