Gina Rodriguez is among an elite group of celebrities whose flawless skin we can’t help but gawk at. And now the Jane the Virgin actress is letting us in on all her dedicated regimen. Having partnered with Clinique earlier this year for its Difference Maker campaign, the Golden Globe nominee is teaming up with the brand once again to reveal her awards season beauty essentials.

The star is the first to admit great genes are one reason for her enviable complexion. “My mom and my father [both] have beautiful skin. So I feel very lucky that they gave [it to] me,” the actress tells PeopleStyle.

But she also learned about the importance of a solid skin care routine at an early age. “My mom always wore Clinique, so it was a staple in our household. She would use the Liquid Facial soap and the old-school Superdefense moisturizer.”
