Former UFC fighter Tim Hague tragically dies aged 34 after being knocked out

 Former UFC fighter Tim Hague has died aged 34 following a knockout defeat in a boxing bout on Friday against Adam Braidwood.

Hague had previously suffered eight knockout losses as a MMA fighter, four of which came in the last two years, leaving him with a 21-13 record, including five bouts in the UFC.

The Canadian was taken to hospital on Friday but has now been confirmed as dead to shock the MMA world.

"It is with incredible sadness, sorrow and heartbreak to report that Tim has passed away today,” Hague’s sister, Jackie Neil, said.
