Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul exhibition bout reportedly moved to June 5 on Showtime PPV

According to a report from The Athletic, Mayweather and Paul have tentatively agreed to meet on June 5 with the exhibition bout expected to air on Showtime pay-per-view.

Originally reported to take place back in February, the exhibition bout was pushed back but now Mayweather is once again hyping the fight with a message on Instagram about possible landing spots for the event. Mayweather listed Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Atlanta as potential hosts for the fight against Paul but it remains to be seen if fans could be in attendance.

On Thursday, TMZ reported that Mayweather’s team is pushing for June 6 in Miami. If the fight happens there, Mayweather and Paul could likely benefit from ticket sales with Florida opening up events to full capacity starting with UFC 261 in Jacksonville this weekend.

Assuming the exhibition bout is finalized, Mayweather will reportedly have to weigh no more than 160 pounds while Paul cannot weigh over 190 pounds. Despite the size advantage, Paul will be a monumental underdog to do much of anything against Mayweather even for an exhibition bout where no winner or loser will actually be declared.
