Coronation Streets Ellie Leach hints at surprise prison stint for Faye Windass

Coronation Street Gary and Faye Windass will find out their fate in court next week following the attack on Adam Barlow and Ellie Leach has hinted her character may be sent down

Life for Faye Windass could change dramatically on Coronation Street next week as she finally finds out her fate for her attack on Adam Barlow.

And while Gary gets to walk away a free man after already serving the eight months he is sentenced to for perverting the course of justice, what about Faye?

Ellie, 20, told Digital Spy : "It would be a shock but (Faye) knows she's made mistakes and she has to pay for those mistakes, she's just hoping not in prison.

"She's a good person and she knows she has to take the blame for what she did but she also feels that she's taking the blame for what Ray did to her and thatâs really hard for her."

Ellie continued: "She knows that what Ray did to her was wrong, whatever he says, and it will affect her for the rest of her life and now it feels like she's paying for that."

Elsewhere in the soap, fans will see Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) pondering what's more important - his future in the police force or his relationship with Faye.
