CONOR McGREGOR has incredibly taunted Floyd Mayweather over his domestic abuse conviction by wearing a CJ Watson basketball jersey.
The Irish UFC star is clearly aiming to gain a mental edge ahead of the pair’s eagerly-anticipated boxing bout, by referencing Money’s chequered past.
Mayweather was sentenced to 90 days in county jail in 2012 for battery against Josie Harris – the mother of his three children.
The boxer was charged after NBA player CJ Watson allegedly slept with Harris.
Mayweather was also ordered to complete 100-hours of community service and attend a 12-month domestic violence program, on top of paying a £2,000 fine.
On Sunday, another NBA player – the Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green – lashed out at McGregor for the stunt… but not for the reason you’d think.
