Blake Wheeler has been named the next captain of the Winnipeg Jets, filling the vacancy left by Andrew Ladd who was traded to Chicago last season.
The Winnipeg Jets have named Blake Wheeler as the next team captain. The team had been without one since Andrew Ladd was traded to Chicago before last seasons deadline.
