Anne Hathaway Joins Rebel Wilson in 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' Remake
Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson are bringing Dirty Rotten Scoundrels back to the big screen. The Oscar-winning actress is in talks to join a reboot of the 1998 film, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The remake, which will be titled Nasty Women and released by MGM Studios, will star Hathaway and Wilson as a pair of con artists teaming up to scam a tech prodigy. The films script is written by Jac Schaffer, who also penned Hathaways upcoming movie, The Shower.
Hathaway has another reboot of a popular film franchise in the works. The 34-year-old actress is among the all-female cast of Ocean's Eight, which also includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Dakota Fanning, Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling. Katie Holmes will also be in the film, playing herself.
"They're all fun and a lot of them are moms," Hathaway told ET's Cameron Mathison in October of her co-stars. "I'm excited that my first film back as a mom I get to work with women who have done it before and I get to ask them questions about [motherhood]."....
