But even with a starring role in one of the most popular movie franchises, the actor has managed to keep most of his personal life private, including his relationship with longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome.

But on Friday, April 10, Grint's rep announced that Groome and Grint are expecting their first child together after recent photos of the couple surfaced. "Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time," a rep for the Harry Potter actor told E! News.

Groome is best known for her role as the lovable Georgia Nicholson in Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, a teen flick based on British author Louise Rennison's books Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging and It's OK, I'm Wearing Really Big Knickers. The story follows Nicholson as she navigates the ups and downs of being a teenager.
