Bio:
Australian comedian, actress, writer, and television host known for her stand-up comedy and appearances on television programs such as The Edge of the Bush, Get Krack!n, Fancy Boy, Taskmaster Australia, Gold Diggers, Why Is My Bag All Wet?, and Talkin' 'Bout Your Gen. She attended the University of Melbourne where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree before she eventually completed Honours in social work. She originally worked professionally in mental health and social work in rural Australia. She began performing stand-up comedy in her late twenties, and her early comedy career gained momentum in 2010 when she became a national finalist in the RAW Comedy competition. She released her television series The Edge of the Bush in 2017. She released the stand-up special Anne Edmonds: Why Is My Bag All Wet? in 2024.
