Bio:
Screenwriter and dramatist famously known for creating the ABC television series My So-Called Life and writing for the shows thirtysomething and Once and Again. She also co-wrote the book for the stage musical Wicked. She has earned a scriptwriting Emmy Award nomination for My So-Called Life and a Tony Award nomination for Best Book of a Musical. She earned a degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Princeton University before going on to earn her master's degree in musical Theatre Writing on full scholarship from New York University.
