Bio:
Politician who serves as the 15th Prime Minister of Sudan from 2019-2021 and from 2021-2022. He was a part of the Sudanese transition to democracy in 2019. He was kidnapped during a Sudanese coup d'état in October of 2021 until his release in the following month. He posts videos of himself giving lectures and press conferences to his SudanPMHamdokFacebook page and SudanPMHamdok Twitter account, with 950,000 and 700,000 followers respectively. In January of 2022 he made a post announcing his resignation as Prime Minister. He got his bachelor's in science from University of Khartoum and then a doctorate in economic studies from the University of Manchester. In the 80's he worked in the Sudanese Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. In the 90's he worked towards the cause of promoting diplomacy in Africa and the Middle East. From 2011-2018 he was the Deputy Executive Secretary for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.Sponsored Links
