Bio:
Malayan Physician, primarily known for his advocation for wearing masks during the epidemic of Manchuria and Mongolia back in 1910. He later became the first Malayan to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in Physiology or Medicine. He attended the Institute for Medical Research in Kuala Lumpur as a research student. He would eventually create the Anti-Opium Association in Penang, Malaysia. During the spring of 1906, he organized a nationwide anti-opium conference that nearly 3,000 people attended.Sponsored Links
