British actor who is famous for his career throughout film and TV, including in The Bill, Where the Heart Is, and EastEnders as Derek Branning in 1996. He starred as General Benningsen in the BBC One adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. He earned his acting degree from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
