Bio:
A Zimbabwean writer of short stories and novels in both Shona and English, he published Waiting for the Rain in 1975 and Some Kind of Wounds in 1980. His other works include the award-winning novel, Kunyarara Hakusi Kutaura, and the play, Ingongova Njakenjake. He received an honorary degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
