Known for both her picture books for children and her fiction works for young adults, this Australian author and artist earned a Children's Book Council of Australia Award (CBCA) for her work Are We There Yet?: A Journey Around Australia. After attending a boarding school in Victoria, Australia, she enrolled at The Melbourne Teachers' College.
