Known best as the founder and director of The Manuel M. Ponce Guitar Quartet, this prominent Mexican musician also formed the Colmex Choir and composed music for numerous theatrical productions. During his early guitar training with instructor Manuel Lopez Ramos, he was introduced to the work of composer Manuel M. Ponce. In 1999, he recorded his debut album with his Manuel M.
