Notable for his Tales of Old Russia, Book of Years, and Clan Wars series of fantasy novels, Morwood is also well known for his screenplays for the animated shows Gargoyles: The Hound of Ulster; Gargoyles: Ill Met by Moonlight; and Batman, the Animated Series: Red Claw Rising. After earning a degree in English literature from Queen's University Belfast, he worked as a civil servant; briefly trained for (and subsequently abandoned) a career in the Royal Air Force; and began work on his debut novel, which was published in 1982.Sponsored Links
