From 2003 until 2007, this Republican Party politician served as Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. In 2010, she campaigned unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination in the election to fill Michael Bennet's U.S. Senate seat. After earning a bachelor's degree in health science from Colorado State University, she completed a master's degree in management from Regis University.
